How this promo reached collectors
Gyarados (XY60) is listed for Ancient Origins prerelease events. The collector STAFF checklist independently lists the STAFF counterpart. The supplied PSA reference scan visibly shows the STAFF and expansion stamps; it does not authenticate other copies. No expansion release date is substituted for a handout date.
BEFORE YOU BUY
Check the stamp, not just the name
Match the card number and the prerelease stamp or expansion logo with the seller's photos. A STAFF listing must also show the STAFF stamp. The supplied reference shows the STAFF and expansion stamps, but does not authenticate other copies or a seller's listing.
SEALED VS RAW VS GRADED
The packaging matters
No card-specific sealed-wrapper evidence has been verified here. Check the actual contents and wrapper in the listing. A raw card, slab and sealed promo are different buying choices.
