How this promo reached collectors
Alolan Sandslash (SM18) is listed as a Guardians Rising prerelease promo in the independent prerelease checklist. The live TCGdex record confirms the English base-card identity. The collector staff archive separately lists its STAFF counterpart. A card-specific public distribution date has not yet been verified; no promo-series start date is substituted. The supplied PSA cert scan shows the STAFF and Guardians Rising expansion stamps. It is a third-party placeholder, not a TCG Promos original scan.
BEFORE YOU BUY
Check the stamp, not just the name
Compare the card number and expansion logo with the listing photos. A staff listing should clearly show the additional STAFF stamp. A shared name or card number alone does not prove the variant.
SEALED VS RAW VS GRADED
The packaging matters
No packaging-specific evidence has been added for this card. A sealed listing must show the actual wrapper and contents. A slab, raw card and sealed promo pack are separate buying choices.
Catalog notes
Identity and release mapping are checked at the scope described by each source below. A catalog listing is not authentication. No scarcity, population or price claims are inferred.
Checked October 15, 2026. The supplied image identity and both stamps were visually checked. Exact staff handout date and card-specific sealed-wrapper details remain unverified; no independent cert lookup or physical authentication was performed. Reference display does not establish commercial artwork permission.
