How this promo reached collectors
Wartortle 63 from Base Set 2 was reprinted with a gold foil W stamp. The stamp refers to Wizards of the Coast, not a Black Star promo symbol or a PRERELEASE stamp. This page keeps that stamped print separate from the ordinary expansion card.
BEFORE YOU BUY
Match the print, not just the name
Check the English language, card number, artwork, finish and Gold W stamp. A shared card name does not prove the print matches.
SEALED VS RAW VS GRADED
The packaging matters
A loose card, a graded card and a sealed collection or magazine insert are different things. This page does not verify a particular wrapper or guarantee a matching listing.
