How this promo reached collectors
Gyarados (32/97) is listed as the English prerelease promo for EX Dragon. The PRERELEASE-stamped print is the catalog subject, not an unstamped base card. No expansion release date is substituted for a handout date.
BEFORE YOU BUY
Check the stamp, not just the name
Match the card name, number and PRERELEASE stamp with the actual listing photos.
SEALED VS RAW VS GRADED
The packaging matters
No card-specific sealed-wrapper evidence has been verified here. Check the actual contents and wrapper in the listing. A raw card, slab and sealed promo are different buying choices.
